The “Hot Mess” is back!

Chelsea Green returned to the ring for the first time since her release from WWE in April. She has come home to IMPACT Wrestling where she is a former Knockouts Champion under the name Laurel Van Ness.

She was the surprise tag team partner for Matt Cardona during the Mixed Tag Team Match. They faced Tenille Dashwood and Brian Myers. The match was very personal as Dashwood is Cardona’s real-life ex-girlfriend while Green is his current fiance. Plus, Myers and Cardona have been best friends for years now turned into rivals.

Green was successful in her return and picked up the win for Cardona and herself by getting the pin on Dashwood after hitting the Unprettier.

Some may call Green’s appearance a surprise as she just debuted at a Ring of Honor event and stated that she was unable to compete for at least another month. She was not cleared to compete for that promotion but would be watching closely to its Women’s Title Tournament that is about to start. It was announced prior to this match at Slammiversary that she was cleared to compete.

It has been reported that Green had not signed with ROH as of now and it is unknown if she will continue to appear for IMPACT as well at this time. Stay tuned for more news on what is next for Chelsea.
