According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AAA, AEW and Impact Wrestling World Champion Kenny Omega has been dealing with a variety of injuries. However, Omega has been undergoing stem cell treatment and PRP therapy and is doing much better. Omega’s injuries include a “deep” bone bruise near his tailbone, an athletic hernia and banged up knees.
Omega currently holds three World Titles and has scheduled defenses for two of them. He will be defending the Impact Wrestling World Title against Sami Callihan at Slammiversary on July 17. Omega will also defend the AAA Mega Title on August 14 in Mexico City, Mexico. There is no word on when he will be defending the Impact Wrestling World Title, though he successfully defended the title against Jungle Boy on June 26.
