Welcome aboard. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster today, though you might not be familiar with all of them. Some of those wrestlers do not get to make many appearances on Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, or even NXT. They are certainly talented though, and now one of them is going to be getting a lot more screen time on a bigger show.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce officially signed Mansoor to a contract with the show. The move brings Mansoor to the show full time, though it is not clear if he will still be appearing on 205 Live. Mansoor wrestled his first match on Monday Night Raw later that night, as he answered an open challenge against United States Champion Sheamus, losing by disqualification when Humberto Carrillo interfered.

Mansoor has been with WWE since 2018, mainly wrestling on NXT live events before moving up to 205 Live and Main Event. Prior to this week’s loss, Mansoor had been unbeaten since August 2019. WWE had promoted his undefeated streak during his appearances on other shows. Mansoor has also had success at the WWE events held in his native Saudi Arabia, where he has defeated both Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler.

Opinion: This is a good thing for more than one reason. Above all else, Monday Night Raw needs some fresh blood and Mansoor is someone who can more than hang in this spot. He is a young, talented wrestler who can have a completely watchable match against anyone you put him against. That is something that could be well suited for the show, assuming he is given a chance.

The other good sign is that WWE might be bringing up some fresh talent. Monday Night Raw has felt so stagnant for a long time now and bringing in anyone could help out a lot. That seems to be the case with Mansoor, who was put in a fairly high profile match right out of the gate. There is no guarantee this will continue, but for now at least, he is off to a nice start.

What do you think of Mansoor? What do you see him doing on the show? Let us know in the comments below.
