Prior to RAW kicking off tonight, WWE announced that Asuka would receive her rematch for the RAW Women’s Championship as she would battle Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania Backlash. Now thanks to WWE authority Sonya Deville, Charlotte Flair has been added to the match.

Prior to the announcement, Flair took on Dana Brooke in a one-on-one match. Last week, Flair faced Mandy Rose and walked away with the victory on the same night she was reinstated by Deville. Tonight, she defeated Brooke after causing her to tap out to the Figure Eight. After the bell rang, Flair wouldn’t break the submission which resulted in Rose interjecting and coming to the aid of her tag team partner.

Deville then made her way to the ring and allowed Flair to make a proposal.

The Queen stated that she knows that Asuka is set to face Ripley for the RAW Women’s Title and yet again she isn’t involved. She pled her case that she was the one to end Asuka’s undefeated streak and she was also the one to put Ripley on the map by defeating her for the NXT Women’s Title last year. She further blames Ripley for stealing her spot at this year’s WrestleMania.

Flair says she is the original influencer and if she were to be added to the RAW Women’s Title match at the upcoming event then it would take it further. Claiming that Ripley and Asuka can only take the match so far. Whether you “love her or hate her”, Flair says the women’s division and the WWE Universe need her.

Deville confirmed that Flair made a good argument and since the men are getting a Triple Threat match that she was making the RAW Women’s Title match at WrestleMania Backlash one as well.

The champion would then make her way down the ramp and said that there was a reason why Flair wasn’t in the match at WrestleMania and that’s because nobody likes her. Ripley adds that she knows she can beat Asuka one-on-one and feels it is unfair for Flair to be added to the match.

Asuka joined the discussion and mocked Flair for crying about wanting to be added to the title match. The Empress says she knows she can beat both Ripley and Flair because she is ready to become the RAW Women’s Champion. Ripley would then go after Deville which caused Flair to stop her. Asuka ended the segment by clearing the ring of both of her upcoming competitors.
