Taylor Wilde wins her first match after coming out of retirement

Taylor Wilde returned to IMPACT Wrestling this past Sunday at Rebellion. She delivered a physical message to the Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo when she attacked both Kimber Lee and Susan. Wilde came out of retirement and has now wrestled her first match in over a decade and her first opponent was Kimber Lee.

Lee went right after Wilde at the opening bell and delivered a running dropkick to try and gain an early advantage. Wilde then follows back with a number of clotheslines. Wilde attempts to lock in the Sharpshooter which Lee avoids on two separate occasions. Lee eventually takes down Wilde with the help of the ring ropes to the throat. Susan gets involved behind the referee’s back as she attacks Wilde with her shoe. Lee fails at a top rope Senton attempt which causes Wilde to take advantage by hitting a codebreaker followed by locking in the modified Indian Deathlock submission to pull out the win.

After the match, Susan went on the attack of Wilde prior to Tenille Dashwood making her way out. She takes down Susan with the Spotlight Kick despite Wilde not asking for any assistance. Earlier in the night, Dashwood welcomed Wilde with the impression that Wilde was back to form a tag team with her.

At Rebellion not only did we see the return of Wilde, but Deonna Purrazzo retained her Knockouts Title against Dashwood. Is Dashwood going to keep her name in the ring and get another title shot?

Maybe not if Havok has anything to say about it as she approached Purrazzo after her interview.

New Knockouts Tag Team Champions have also been crowned from the debuting Rachael Ellering along with Jordynne Grace. They defeated Fire ‘N Flava at Rebellion. The former champions aren’t done with the gold just yet as they have been issues a rematch that will take place on May 16 at Under Siege on IMPACT Plus.

What did you think of Taylor’s in-ring return? Who do you think will end up being Purrazzo’s next opponent? Will Grace & Ellering stay champions after Under Siege? Leave your thoughts below.
