What could have been. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, a stable is an idea that makes a lot of sense. It can help to get many people onto television in a short amount of time, which is often the only way to keep things moving at once. WWE has been using them more frequently as of late, but a proposed idea for one of them never actually made it to air.

The big WWE story from this week was the release of ten names from the company. This includes nine wrestlers, with Chelsea Green being one of the bigger surprises on the list. Green had only wrestled one match on SmackDown, during which she suffered an injury which put her on the shelf for several months. It turns out that WWE had a few plans for her before the injury.

According to Fightful Select, WWE had plans for Green, Vanessa Borne and Santana Garrett in a stable at some point. The idea would have been a cross between the Pussycat Dolls and Charlie’s Angels but nothing ever came to pass. Borne was called up to the main roster in early 2020 but has yet to debut on WWE TV. Garrett has appeared in the Royal Rumble but never wrestled regularly on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown.

What could have been. Check out all three in action:
