Welcome home. WWE has been around for a very long time now and there have been hundreds if not even more stars to come through those doors throughout the years. Some of them are far more famous than others but the fact that those others were there means quite a bit for their career. Several of them became bigger names after leaving WWE and some even came back later. That seems to be the case again.

There are certain wrestling families that are as famous as you can get in wrestling. Just being a part of one of these families means that you are going to have a chance in WWE and that is often a good idea. Sometimes they find a hidden gem but sometimes they have to leave WWE to make it work. Now another former star and former champion seems likely to be coming back to the company.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Davey Boy Smith Jr. is not scheduled for the upcoming Bloodsport event, which suggests that he has signed with WWE. Smith wrestled for WWE from 2006-2011 and has since wrestled in Japan and on the independent circuit. There is no word on if Smith has officially signed, though he has recently been in discussions with multiple promotions, including WWE.

Smith has wrestled for WWE before. Check out some of his time there and elsewhere:
