AEW Rankings (Mar. 24, 2021): Tay Conti is new #1

AEW released their latest rankings (Mar. 24, 2021). Let’s check out the movers and shakers.

Men:

AEW

Cody Rhodes leapfrogged Jon Moxley on the strength of a victory over Pentagon. Fenix popped in out #5 by defeating Angelico. Miro was given the shaft from #5.

Darby Allin will be defending the TNT Championship against John Silver on Dynamite. It was also announced that Hangman Page will see singles action against Cezar Bononi. Barring an upset, these rankings should remain the same for next week. Although, you never can be certain how cheap wins on Dark will be weighed. Two Dark shows now gives opportunity to climb the ladder quickly.

Women:

AEW

Tay Conti hopped over Red Velvet into the top spot after pinning Ray Lyn on Monday. Conti’s rise could be short-lived since she has to compete against Nyla Rose tonight on Dynamite. Ryo Mizunami earned an impressive win over Leyla Hirsch on Dark: Elevation. That bumped Mizunami above Dr. Britt Baker DMD. Baker’s record does not reflect her loss to Thunder Rosa. Being an unsanctioned match, AEW stuck to their word on that one.

Tag Team:

AEW

FTR may be in the Pinnacle, but they are not at the pinnacle of tag team wrestling. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler dropped two spots from #2. Jurassic Express moved up one slot, and the Dark Order duo of Alex Reynolds and John Silver came out of nowhere to occupy the third position. The Dark Order’s boys most recently defeated Chaos Project on Dark. PAC and Fenix fell one spot due to inactivity. Good thing they already earned #1 contender status as PAC recovers from an ankle injury. Top Flight exited from #5. Darius Martin is also dealing with an injury.

Do you agree with AEW’s rankings this week? If not, what would you change?
