NXT’s latest episode was all about setting up big angles for next month’s two night TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, and the Injury Report coming out of that Mar. 17 show continues those efforts.

Multiple sites have reported the shoulder separation that took him out of Wednesday’s main event is legitimate. No word yet on the severity, but he’ll probably be out for a few months as a result. If Triple H & team were counting on having the Tag belts defended at Stand & Deliver, they’ll probably need to go to Plan B or Plan C. Maybe Pete Dunne can team with Oney Lorcan? Or in the likely event Dunne is already pencilled in to face someone else on April 7 & 8, they may have to vacate the championship and let MSK & Grizzled Young Veterans fight for the straps. If they’re healthy that is…
We’ll see what they do after they find out how severe the 39 year old Brit’s injury is. In the meantime, here’s Matt Camp’s latest, and the full list of what it covers:
- Danny Burch: possible separated shoulder; awaiting test results
- Finn Bálor: various injuries; medically cleared as tolerated but expected to be 100% by TakeOver: Stand & Deliver
- Santos Escobar: tongue laceration; day-to-day but expected to be fully cleared by next week
