LA Knight made his first appearance in the Capitol Wrestling Center on the Mar. 3 episode of NXT. The former Eli Drake did what he’s known for, “talked to” us with a fiery promo where he called out everyone on the black-and-gold brand.
Before he left the ring, Bronson Reed’s entrance cut him off. Knight cleared out rather than confront the big Australian, but it turns out he was just biding his time.
Reed was set to face Cameron Grimes, in a match booked by NXT General Manager William Regal as punishment for Grimes’ Ted DiBiase-inspired antics last week. He was dominating the hillbilly millionaire, too…
…until Knight returned to “give Grimes his hat.” That was an excuse to snap the big man’s arm over the top rope, and send him spinning right into a Cave-In.
Doesn’t seem like there’s a partnership in place between Grimey and the new guy, but with all that Gamestop money, there certainly could be. Expect Reed to have an issue with both men, though.
